I recently joined Sheffield Hackspace and have greatly enjoyed learning new techniques and undertaking a variety of projects using their facilities, which include a workshop for wood and metal-work, electronics equipment, 3d-printers and a laser cutter. Working with wood for the first time I’ve been trying out wood turning, resin casting, and some basic carpentry.
